In a valley in central Guatemala, the mountains have watched over the Perez family for generations as they worked on their farm growing and tending to the coffee plant. With her twelve brothers and sisters, Jovita Perez Jefferson picked, sun-dried, roasted, and ground coffee for the family (and their lucky visitors) to enjoy year-round. Growing up, Jovita and her family learned to love the beautiful and powerful coffee plant — bountiful in its fruit and breathtaking with the white flowers that bloom during Guatemala's rainy season.
Decades later, the Perez and Jefferson family brings this coffee to you, from seed to cup. We hope to welcome you to our farm and family with every sip. Coffee — what we lovingly call 'black gold' — has brought peace, connection, and opportunity to our family, and we hope it does the same for you with each brew.
